Gears 5 G Sync Not Working

I checked the per program settings in the nvidia control panel and gears 5 is set all set to my global preferences g sync on vsync off.

As the title says ive noticed that gsync isnt working in battlefield 5 when in normal fullscreen only by chance did it accidentally go to windowed mode and i instantly felt the difference. If g sync is still not working or you don t have anything wrong with the g sync configuration you should jump to the next solution. When nvidia control panel opens go to manage 3d settings in the left pane. G sync is for fps below your monitors refresh limit.

Can you see your monitor dynamically updating its refresh rate. I have posted about this on reddit as seen here and a supposed employee from the coalition gears 4 developer. You may try changing the v sync settings in order to fix the g sync problem. If not i dont think gsync is working.

Can t say i ve had any issues but a few things that you should always check. So if you have v sync disabled and the fps goes above the monitors max refresh rate then you ll get tearing. I ve made sure that g sync is enabled in windowed and fullscreen games set the game to fullscreen which appears to actually be borderless windowed and even disabled vsync. I e if you monitors max refresh is 120hz and you set g sync as on but v sync as off you get.

Firstly g sync used to work just fine in gears and then something happened that caused it to stop working and now i get these flashing black lines on the screen with v sync is turned off as it should be when using g sync. Ultimate edition for windows 10. According to reports turning on the v sync really worked for some users. Between fps of 30 to 119 g sync and no tearing 120fps onwards tearing.
